this is a grand love story.  high school sweethearts that drift apart and yet find their way back to each other.  so sweet. this day had been a long time coming.  and it did not disappoint.  beautiful spring day at the nc art museum.  thanks for sharing it with me.  congrats emily & spencer!

this family...

Jay was one of the first high school kids we met at Eastern Wayne when we started Young Life years ago.  He went on the inaugural Windy Gap fall weekend and quickly became a YL legend.  Since then his whole family has embraced us - they've taken on my kids as "stunt" grandkids, had nerf gun show downs in their living room, glow light piñata -ed dressed in camo, eaten turducken .... really we have lived a lot of life together.  

now Jay is married to Cara (see october 2012 post) and baby quinn is here.  i shot his newborn session months ago and thought it was about time you saw it!
